Residential

St. Fintans Road, Sutton

This garden in Sutton was well cared for with mature fruit trees, lawn and a play area for the children. The client is a keen gardener and likes to grow vegetables and flowers for cutting.

She wanted us to redesign a patio area for the family.  We created it with a built in BBQ and some raised bads at different levels for growing vegetables and flowers. We also incorporated built in seating within the patio area.

A bicycle shelter was constructed along with a potting bench and storage area. Wisteria was planted along the side of this shelter with herbs, fruit, vegetables and flowers planted into the new beds.

Hazel Avenue, Kilmacud

For this garden the client wanted minimum maintenance with a water feature and seating area. We started by clearing everything from the site apart from a mature Ash tree at the end of the garden.

We set about paving most of the area, building raised beds which curved around the garden. The walls were painted and a seating area was constructed around the base of the Ash tree.

A large garden shed was erected which is now used as a gym. A small area of lawn was laid with lighting throughout the garden. We created a curved water feature just beside a decking area which can be seen from the house.

Seafield Road, Clontarf

This is garden we did in Clontarf was designed primarily with the children in mind. We built a curving deck by the house with a BBQ , this was the area for the adults to relax.

The path winds down to the bottom of the garden where a barked area allows space for swings and slides. We built a little playhouse for the children with a deck at the front. Trees and shrubs were planted around the boundaries of the garden for privacy and flowering plants near the little house.

We put in a good sized lawn and a shed for storage. A small sized Cherry Blossom that was of sentimental value to the clients was lifted and replanted into the lawn.
